Musician Jim Guthrie asked a number of animators and filmmakers to create interpretive music videos for his soundtrack to Indie Game: The Movie. Here’s mine, based on my Machine Gum webcomic.

All the videos can be seen at Proof of Something: The IGTM Video Project. They run the gamut from stop motion to found footage. My favourite might be Nicolas Ménard’s video for the track Lobby Music:

I don’t know who’s singing this version of the Tex Williams classic Smoke! Smoke! Smoke!, but the animation is from Paris-based Dutch artist Gino Bud Hoiting.

This is wonderful. Pittsburg animator Scott Benson created this animated music video about evolution and technological progress for the electronic band Rendezvous. As always, view in full-screen HD.
