Illustrator Adrian Valencia unfortunately just discovered an online shop selling clothes which use his illustrations, unauthorized of course. The blouse in question features this image, modifying a few colours here and there:
I hope this has a happy ending and he finds out how this all occurred, and can encourage them to put a stop to it without the pain of a legal battle (remember, suing someone is not only incredibly expensive, but a lawsuit can go on for months or even years).
Far too many of us are familiar with situations like this, but the upside is that an active online community is our best defense.
